Database cleansing
It is commonly accepted that the success of any direct marketing campaign rests heavily on the quality of data. A correctly formatted database is not only essential in ensuring that your intended recipient receives your mailing piece, but also ensures you maintain a professional image by not sending duplicate mailing pieces to the same individual. At McGowans Mail we can take your data in almost any format and cleanse, de-duplicate and format to your chosen postal supplier’s specification - ensuring you receive the maximum postal discounts available.
High Speed full colour personalisation
With the capacity to print and simultaneously personalise in excess of 24,000 / 12,000 full colour simplex / duplex A4’s per hour we truly are the market leaders.With stocks from 100gsm through to 350gsm we have everything covered from letters through to postcards and tabbed sealed mailers.
High Speed laser printing
Black & White overprint of supplied base stock at speeds of 7,500 simplex A4 sheets per hour.
Media sizes from 95mm x 133mm to 324mm x 463mm
Media weight up to 350gsm simplex and 300gsm duplex
Inkjet Personalisation
Ideal for the overprinting of envelopes, postcards or tabbed items with variable customer name and address data.
To assist with drying and eliminate smudging we have also invested in infra-red lamps. This investment is particularly beneficial when using glossy coated stocks such as postcards and the reduced drying time also means that we are able to run the equipment at significantly higher speeds. All leading to cost savings for you.
Machine Insertion
With capacity in excess of 1,000,000 items per month, our fully automated German engineered inserting machine is one of the fastest and most flexible available on the market. The Gruntzmacher is capable of folding your letter online and packing up to 7 items into DL, C5 or C4 envelopes at speeds of up to 10,000 envelopes per hour.
Hand Insertion
For the more bespoke mailings that cannot be packed by machine we also offer a hand packing service. There is no job too big or too small that we can’t handle.
Tabbing
If you produce large volumes of mail and are looking for an economical alternative to using traditional envelopes in direct mail campaigns, the use of small adhesive tabs on your mail may be the answer. Tabs can be placed on a wide variety of open-ended media including mail pieces, folded stock, double postcards, newsletters and booklets. Not only do tabs ensure closure, they are a non-intrusive option and let you take advantage of certain postal discounts due to the mailings being lightweight.Our highly flexible tabbing equipment is capable of applying up to 20,000 tabs per hour and a unique feature is that it can simultaneously tab both the front and side edges in a single pass, guaranteeing significant savings on our competition.
